To the editor:

I have known Matt Bruns for more than a decade and he is not only a wonderful father and husband, but he is an accomplished and caring educator. As an elected official myself, I know that holding a public office is an awesome responsibility. It’s not for everyone. But I have complete confidence that Matt Bruns is seeking a position on the school board for all the right reasons. He understands he will be representing all of the students and parents in ISD 200, will listen to everyone’s opinions, carefully consider the facts, and make decisions based on what is best for our students. As a professional educator who interacts with students, parents, administrators and other educators each and every day, Matt works on the front lines to help students grow into amazing adults. He truly loves his job and has dedicated his life to public education. We will be so fortunate to have Matt on the ISD 200 school board, and I hope you join me in voting for Matt Bruns this fall.
