Every child deserves the opportunity to succeed, and that starts with strong schools, supported teachers, and a commitment to academic excellence. That is why I am proud to support William Beck for State Representative.
As the daughter of a teacher, a school administrator and a former House Representative, I believe our schools need the resources and support necessary to help students thrive. Yet declining test scores and recent State mandates are making it harder for our schools to deliver the results our children deserve.
William understands that we cannot force our schools to do more without giving them the resources to do it and academic excellence takes a lot more than just feeding students. He is himself a former educator and a father of two kids who understands what is at stake in our schools and is committed to modifying, funding, or eliminating these mandates and improving the way Minnesota delivers academic excellence.
My father made education his top priority while serving our district in the Minnesota House. I know how important it is to have a representative who takes our schools seriously and is willing to advocate for students, teachers, and parents. I believe William will carry that commitment forward and work to ensure our schools and our students have what they need to succeed.
Our children deserve a bright future, and that begins with delivering an improved education system.
