The Section 3AA swim meet was held at Blue Water Aquatic Center in Apple Valley. The event was supposed to be over three days with preliminary swimming on Wednesday, diving on Thursday and the finals for swimming on Friday, but Mother Nature had other ideas. The swimming was supposed to be two races, starting with a qualifying race before a seeded finals race for each event. Instead, they switched to a single-timed race for each event. Diving was not affected except for the date change. Swimming was moved to Friday and diving to Saturday. more
The Raiders entered the Section 1AA tournament as the fourth seed and played host to the Rochester Century Panthers on a snowy Thursday evening, February 23. Raiders fans packed the house with standing room only along the boards to cheer the boys on. The Raiders fell 5-4 in double overtime, but the game until that final goal was scored did not disappoint. more
