Heather Beedy is one of the many talented teachers working with Bridge Program students at Hastings Middle School. Bridge is designed for students with emotional and behavioral needs which are often best met in a smaller classroom setting. The need is great, the impact is large, and Ms. Beedy is one of the best!
Heather has been making an impact in education for over three decades after completing an undergraduate degree from UW River Falls and a master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University. She knew she wanted to be a teacher early in life.
“I have always loved working with students and started when I was in high school myself,” Beedy said.
Every child has potential, and Ms. Beedy does her best to bring out their best. “For every hard day that we have as teachers, there are bright days that make you remember why you want to work with students,” she said. “I genuinely care about the students I work with and want them all to achieve everything they can.”
As a district and community, we are fortunate to have such dedicated staff here to support and encourage our kids each day. When Ms. Beedy is not uplifting our middle schoolers, she enjoys fishing, making various crafts and just enjoying the outdoors!
Thank you for your dedication and hard work for our kids Ms. Beedy. We are grateful. #200Strong
