On Saturday, February 17th, at 3:30 p.m., the LeDuc Historic Estate will celebrate its annual Valentine's tea. This is a 3-course tea featuring sandwiches, scones and due to the occasion, chocolates paired with one of three teas. This year's program will discuss why chocolate is associated with the holiday. A tour of the house will be included after the final course.
Seating is limited, so reserve your spot today.
If you have any dietary restrictions, please let us know in the notes section below. We are a historic site and have all the food catered in, due to this we have limitations in our accommodations of special diets but will do our best to address allergies.

Join the Dakota County Historical Society and professional genealogist Michelle Spencer for "2A Genealogist's Guide to Sanborn Maps."
Pre-registration for this event is required and virtual attendees will receive a Zoom link as the presentation date approaches.
Sanborn Maps not only help you locate your family— their greatest utility lies in decoding your ancestors' lives. Whether you are a seasoned researcher or novice, this session will help you get the most out of these unique maps that cover more than 12,000 towns and cities across the United States from the 1880s to 1950s.
Michelle L. Spencer, owner of RomaMaryGrace, is an historian and professional genealogist specializing in family business research, small town research, material culture, pandemics, National Register of Historic Places, military, and government records. She loves doing research and collecting old things. She has co-authored more than fifty nominations to the National Register and her genealogical clients included the television shows Who Do You Think You Are? and Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr. She and her husband live in Millbrook, Alabama.
