The Raiders boys Tennis team had two matches left in the regular season last week, Hill-Murray and a rescheduled match against Lakeville South. Both days ended in 6-1 losses for Hastings.
Headed into the section meeting Friday, Head Coach Alex Zuzek expected the Raiders to be seeded somewhere around the middle of the pack, maybe the eighth or ninth seed, but the final regular season losses dropped them to the tenth seed, and they took a trip to Cottage Grove to take on the Wolfpack as the ninth seed on Monday. Zuzek hoped the Raiders would be seeded in a spot that gave them a solid chance to earn a team win in the first round and the match against Park is one that could go either way. We’ll have those results next week.
