The Hamline Elite High School Track Invite is a tough meet to be invited to. They take the best of the best from around the state based on the current year results from official MSHSL meets. The selection process for the Hamline meet is designed to limit entries to a specific number of athletes for each event but allows a little flexibility if there are a couple of athletes on the bubble that are close.
Hastings sent Lane Hoffman, Cole Zeien, Jack Cloutier, Matthew Jelks, Gunner Hanstad, Johnathan Vickney, Sebastian Strauss, Ellie Magnus, Carlee Kordosky, Olyvia Erickson, Jersey Appert, Lauren Whitfield, and Rylee Kimmes, a total of 13 athletes to the Hamline Invite.
The highlight of the meet was several first-place finishes. The boys 4x400 set a new Hamline Elite Meet record with a time of 3:19.4, the Co-op 4x400 took first place. Lane Hoffman finished first in the 200-meter dash and the girls 4x200 meter relay placed first.
