The Hastings High School (HHS) Raiders and St. Elisabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) Patriots Archery Teams competed in the 2025 Minnesota NASP State Championship – Bullseye and IBO/3D Tournaments on March 28th-29th. These tournaments are part of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) and the International Bow Hunting Organization IBO/NASP 3D programs and are the NASP Nationals Qualifiers.
The HHS Raiders archery team earned a score of 1603 out of 1800 at the IBO/3D Minnesota State Championship, meeting the tier three threshold out of four for Nationals qualification - an incredible achievement for the team’s very first season! Junior Alex Stanton made school history by recording HHS’s first perfect fifty in an IBO/NASP 3D competition during the tournament. Just a week earlier, Alex had made school history by becoming the first HHS archer to achieve a perfect fifty scoring round in Bullseye at Regions.
The very next day, the Raiders delivered another outstanding performance—this time in Bullseye—posting a Nationals-qualifying team score of 3149 out of 3600. This tier six out of six qualifier marks yet another remarkable milestone in HHS Raiders’ inaugural archery season! Senior Jadon Mike also celebrated a personal best, shooting his first perfect 50-point round at the State tournament.
The Raiders have secured flights at the NASP Bullseye and NASP IBO/3D flights at the Eastern Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky, and will be competing May 8th-10th! While there, they’ll also take part in the 2025 IBO Genesis Indoor World Championship and the 2025 CENTERSHOT Eastern Nationals Bullseye and IBO/3D tournaments. With five competitions ahead, the archers are back in action at post-season practices to get tournament ready!
For the second year in a row, the SEAS Patriots posted national qualifying team scores in both Bullseye and IBO/3D! Seventh grader Gabriella Seefeld shot a personal best and earned her second perfect 50 pin of the season—an incredible achievement.
While the Patriots were able to secure NASP Eastern Nationals Bullseye flights, they were unfortunately unable to lock in NASP IBO/3D flights due to being in the lowest tier. The Patriots will also be competing in the 2025 IBO Genesis Indoor World Championship and the 2025 CENTERSHOT Eastern Nationals Bullseye and IBO/3D tournaments —giving them a total of four tournaments to prepare for in the post season!
The experienced SEAS team is especially excited to welcome the HHS Raiders and show them around the Kentucky Exposition Center!
