The Hastings High School (HHS) Raiders and St. Elisabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) Patriots Archery Teams traveled to New Prague on Saturday to compete in the New Prague Archery Open Bullseye Tournament. This event is part of the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).
The Raiders celebrated their first perfect 50-point scoring round of the season—congratulations to Ben Stanton!
The team continues to improve each week, with many archers achieving personal-best scores as they work toward their goal of scoring over 3,200 points at the Minnesota State Tournament and qualifying for Nationals.
The Patriots also had another successful week, with the Middle School team taking the podium in second place.
In Middle School individual competition, Leo Sellar earned first place in the boys’ division. In Elementary individual competition, Black Akre brought home a first-place trophy for the girl’s division, and Wyatt Shallen placed fourth for the boys.
Next, the Raiders and Patriots will compete in Bullseye at the Princeton Frozen Open Bullseye Tournament on February 14.
