A Prescott man has been arrested in relation to a child pornography investigation.

John Raymond Healy, 64, was ordered to pay $25,000 cash bond Oct. 25 in Pierce County Circuit Court on seven felony possession of child pornography charges. He was also required to surrender his passport and cannot have contact with anyone under the age of 18. If convicted, the maximum penalty is 25 years in prison and/or fines up to $100,000.

According to the complaint:

Pierce County Sheriff’s Office deputies received a Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension report from an agent investigating a child sex abuse material cyber tip. The phone number associated with the material came back to Healy, with the address of 141 Linden Road, Prescott, with a total of nine cyber tips involving the same account.

Throughout the investigation, police found hundreds of photos and videos of juvenile girls having sex with adult men dating from June 10, 2023 through Nov. 29, 2023. Healy’s devices also included nude photos of himself sent to minors and text messages threatening to expose him as a rapist and pedophile if he didn’t pay someone’s rent. Police found evidence of flights to South Korea and the Philippines, with a Google search researching the age of sexual consent in the Philippines.

Healy is scheduled to appear in Pierce County Circuit Court at 11:30 a.m. Dec. 5 for a status conference.
