Co-owner of the popular Spiral Brewery in downtown Hastings, Fox has served as commissioner on the Hastings Economic Development and Redevelopment Authority (HEDRA), where she was appointed Treasurer by her fellow board members. HEDRA guides the development and implementation of the city's economic and redevelopment strategies. Fox has also served as a member of the Hastings City Council. She holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter.

Before starting Spiral Brewery, she served as the Director of Consumer Outreach and Community Relations for the Minnesota Department of Commerce and worked in several communications roles at the Minnesota Office of Higher Education.

As a lifelong Hastings resident with decades of involvement in the community, a local business owner and former City Council member, Fox and her own small business have personally felt the hardships of political and economic uncertainty. Fox is committed to making politics accessible again and is running to bring a voice from the district to St. Paul on behalf of business owners, local governments and all residents in District 41.

“I am committed to serving the people of my district. Individuals and families deserve to have their voices recognized. That is not what has happened in the past two years,” she said. “I am running again because the same issues I ran on two years ago have not been addressed by our current representation. We need support at the state capitol for bonding, infrastructure, and clean water now more than ever.”

Fox was the endorsed DFL candidate in 2024 and received 48.9 percent of the vote. District 41B serves Hastings, Denmark Township, Ravenna Township and most of Cottage Grove.

KEY ISSUES

Infrastructure
Fox knows the importance of advocating for increased bonding funds for her district. “Our communities rely on the upkeep of infrastructure to ensure our safety and maximize our success.” Fox knows the importance of using state funding to maintain roads, bridges, sidewalks, and other elements of hard infrastructure in our state.

Clean Water
Fox understands how to work through the water problem in her district. “It is unconscionable that our politicians are making water a political issue in our district.” Fox will fight for state funding to ensure that our communities have clean drinking water.

Pro-Business
As co-owner of Hastings' Spiral Brewery, Fox understands the importance of small businesses for the unity and prosperity of communities like hers. Fox knows that it takes a village to run a successful business. “The value of small businesses, specifically, has become increasingly important as our economy is clearly floundering. Families are struggling to make ends meet. Our elected officials should try to make it easier for small businesses to succeed, not harder.”
