A Hastings man was charged by summons Sept. 30 in Dakota County Court with drug crimes following a search of a residence in May.
Bradley Alan Nadeau, 42, was charged with 1st degree sale of controlled substances (amphetamine, phencyclidine or hallucinogen) (50 more grams or 200 or more dosage units) and second degree possession of a controlled substance.
According to the criminal complaint, agents with the Dakota County Drug Task Force executed a search warrant May 15 at a residence in the 100 block of 14th Street West. Nadeau was reportedly the target of the investigation, and he was taken into custody.
A search of the residence turned up marijuana-related items in the garage, including vape cartridges, edibles and green-leafy substances, as well as mushrooms suspected to contain psilocybin. A tent with approximately 25 marijuana plants was found in another part of the residence. Cell phones were recovered, and investigators say data from the phones indicates Nadeau was involved in drug-related sales.
