Hastings Culver’s and the Hastings Rivertown Lions Club will partner for a special fundraiser on Tuesday, June 9, to support sisters Kaylee and Serenity Trevis of Hastings as they prepare to attend a national event for individuals with disabilities.
Both girls live with rare genetic disorders and are active Special Olympics athletes. They have been selected as 2026 Minnesota Miss Amazing Queens and will represent Minnesota at the 2026 Miss Amazing National Summit, scheduled for July 24-26 in Rosemont, Illinois.
The fundraiser will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. at Hastings Culver’s. During that time, 10 percent of restaurant sales will be donated to support the sisters' trip. Participants are also encouraged to leave tips, which will go directly toward the fundraising effort.
Hastings Culver’s has hosted "Share Nights" for local organizations and community groups for many years. During these events, participating volunteers assist restaurant staff by delivering food to tables and bringing orders to drive-through customers.
The Hastings Rivertown Lions Club has partnered with Culver’s for more than a decade. Funds raised through the club’s regular volunteer efforts support a variety of local programs and organizations, including Hastings Family Service, the RAP Program, the SPARK Program, early childhood scholarships and Lions district foundations.
Community members are invited to stop by, enjoy a meal and help support Kaylee and Serenity as they represent Minnesota on the national stage.
