Taterland, a local potato farm in Hastings, invites families and community members to roll up their sleeves and dig into harvest—all while supporting Hastings Girls Hockey.
On Saturday, Sept. 20, 2025, Taterland will host an “all-you-can-dig party” from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Visitors are encouraged to bring potato forks and buckets to harvest fresh potatoes straight from the field. Members of Hastings Girls Hockey will be on site to welcome guests, assist with digging, and collect donations for their program.
The field is located south of Hastings off Highway 61 and 180th Street E. It will be clearly marked with signage and flags. Attendees are asked to stay within the designated area and dig at their own risk. Parking will be available adjacent to the field (not in the field or on the crop), and attendees are asked to be mindful of others.
