August Classic
Three boys from the Hastings Raiders 11AA baseball team were selected for the August Classic Tournament Team, an all-star type of tournament held in Burnsville. The team went 3-1, placing fifth overall with players from Apple Valley, Hastings, Ellsworth and Chaska. Left to right: Adam Simon played catcher and first base, Mason Shemon pitched in three games and played first and right field, and Harrison O’Neill pitched in two games and played short stop. All three contributed on the field and at the plate.
