The Wuollet Bakery added to its chain when it opened in August 2022 in the former Emily’s Bakery and Deli location in Hastings in 2022.
It was evicted from its location in the Midtown Shopping Center with law enforcement posting a notice on the front door last week.
Wuollet was located at 1212 Vermillion St. When it opened there, it was the company’s seventh location, owned by Eric Shogren and Olga Shogren.
The shopping center owner, Hastings Midtown, LLC filed to evict the bakery.
The landlord says Wuolett owes $91,132.36 in unpaid rent and other costs, as well as $858,879 for future rent and damages. Wuolette reportedly had a 10-year lease at the site.
