The Hastings High School spring theater production is something new this year.
Under the direction of four seniors, along with Janelle Ranek and Molly McElroy co-directing and mentoring, along with technical director Cara Anderson, the students are presenting a series of 10 short plays, mostly comedies with six different directors.
The production is called, “Well, That’s Funny.”
The community is invited to join the actors for an evening filled with laughter. Experience 10 delightful short plays that will captivate you, prompt you to ponder, and have you laughing out of your seat!
Picture this: a yoga class designed for babies, orchestrating your own demise with a professional hitman, the trials
of renewing your driver's license, competing for a job against a fellow applicant, finding yourself stranded in a
bizarre town... and much more hilariously peculiar scenarios await you in one unforgettable night guaranteed to leave you in stitches!
This theatrical production marks the debut of four talented student directors: Gill Greeder, Lily Doffing, Mariam BenSaid, and Micaela Damico, alongside co-directors McElroy and Ranek.
With a cast of 22 gifted actors delivering these short plays with skill and maturity, this promises to be a
rollercoaster of entertainment. Do not miss this show!
