Hastings’ Lyle Russell VFW Post 1210 will host this year’s Community Veterans Day Dinner Event in commemoration of our Nation’s 103rd Veterans Day.

The event is open to the public and will be held on Saturday, November 13th in the Event Room of the 2nd Street Depot Bar and Grill located at 320 2nd Street East in Hastings.

The Guest Speaker will be Dale Hoogeveen, MN VFW Department Senior Vice Commander, former 2d District Commander and Army Veteran.

A social will start at 5 PM followed by dinner at 6 PM. Cost is $17 per person and tickets can be purchased until Wednesday Nov 10 at VFW Post 1210, American Legion Post 47 and the 2nd Street Depot Bar and Grill.

On Thursday, November 11 from 5-9 pm, VFW Post 1210 will again partner with Hastings Spiral Brewery for a 2d Annual Have a Beer for Veterans Event. For every beer sold, Spiral Brewery will make a generous donation to the Post. There will be an onsite DJ, and all are welcome!!

Additionally, VFW Post 1210 will also be co-hosting a free Veterans Day Concert at 1 pm, Sunday, November 7 at the Hastings’ Middle School Auditorium featuring the 204th U.S. Army Reserve Band and the River Valley Band.

Lyle Russell VFW Post 1210 is a 501c (19) organization located at 275 West 33rd Street, Suite I, between Highway 61 and 316 in the Crossroads Strip Mall. Regular hours of operation are 11 – 2 PM on Wednesday and Saturday.
