ORDINANCE NO. 24-001
INTERIM ORDINANCE REGARDING A MORATORIUM ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF NEW & EXPANDED MINING OPERATIONS WITHIN THE TOWNSHIP
It is the intent and effect of this Ordinance to place a moratorium on the establishment or expansion of mining operations for one year to allow the Town to study potential new regulations related to the performance standards, duration, and location of mining operations within the Town.

SECTION 8. EFFECTIVE DATE. This interim ordinance shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
Adopted this 1st day of February, 2024 by the Board of Supervisors of Vermillion Township, Minnesota.
