March 14 1:42 p.m. An online report of fraud was received. 5:11 p.m. A traffic stop was attempted on two motorcycles in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. Neither one complied. Officers did not pursue. 7:43 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted in the 600 block of 10th St. E. After investigation, Mark G. Fronk, 52 of Circle Pines was arrested for Driving After Canceled-IPS. 11:03 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1400 block of Vermillion St. After investigation, Joseph R. Lee, 21 of Rochester was arrested for Driving After Revocation. March 15 3:09 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 900 block of Vermillion St. After investigation, the passenger, Anjanette S. Wells, 48 of Austin was arrested for Felony 1st Degree Drug Possession, petty misdemeanor drug paraphernalia possession and petty misdemeanor possession of hypodermic needles. The driver, Marty L. Morrison, 43 of Austin was arrested for Felony 5th Degree Drug Possession. 10:18 a.m. A report was received from the Minnesota Adult Abuse ReportingCenter(MAARC). 11:10 a.m. An officer assisted with a Dakota County Sheriff’s Office traffic stop in the 1000 block of Ravenna Trail. 11:53 a.m. Officers arrested Davis Carns, 40 of Hastings for a warrant in the 1200 block of Sibley St. 2:01 p.m. Officers received information in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. regarding a report of a suspicious photo. Information only. 3:52 p.m. Officers responded to the 100 block of Florence St. for a roommate disagreement. The situation was mediated by officers. March 16 2:48 a.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Vermillion St. for a parking violation. The owner, Robert Williams of Hastings was issued a citation for violating restricted hours of parking. 10:44 a.m. Officers investigated a suspicious circumstance in the 1000 block of Tyler St. W. 11:55 a.m. Officers responded to a reported fight at a business near the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. A juvenile female was cited for misdemeanor 5th Degree Assault. 12:14 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated in the 100 block of 33rd St. W. License plates were impounded from the violator vehicle. 12:31 p.m. Officers responded to an accident with no injuries at the intersectionof General Sieben Dr. and Market Blvd. Place.2:29 p.m. A theft report was taken from the 1700 block of N. FrontageRd. 3:35 p.m. A suspicious act was investigated in the 100 block of 33rd St. The situation was mediated. 7:34 p.m. Officers were called to a driving complaint near the 700 block of 12th St. W. The reporting party advised they saw a fourwheeler driving at a high rate of speed down the road. After investigationof the incident, Mitchell E. Richmond, 26 of Hastingswas arrested for felony receiving stolen property. 10:22 a.m. A suspicious act which had occurred the previous day was reported in the 800 block of Bahls Dr. 2:15 p.m. Officers responded to the 1200 block of Sibley St. on a report of found drug paraphernalia. The contraband was picked up by officers and placed in the evidence room. 3:42 p.m. Officers responded to a welfare check after a male was reportedly walking over the arch of the Hastings Mississippi Bridge. The male was located on the north side of the bridge. 6:22 p.m. An officer responded to the area of Cty. Rd. 47 and 31st St. W. for a driving complaint. An officer investigated the case and located the suspect vehicle and driver. Joseph Cramer Jr., 43 of Hastings was taken into custody for reckless driving and Third Degree DWI. 7:39 p.m. Officers responded to the 900 block of 2nd St. W. for a disturbance. The parties were advised to separate for the night. March 18 1:38 p.m. An officer was notified that stolen property from another jurisdiction had been sold to a business in the 200 block of 2nd St. E. The case is under investigation. 5:36 p.m. A damage to property report was taken in the 1300 block of14th St. W. There was no suspect information at the time. 9:53 p.m. Officers assisted the Cottage Grove Police Department with a pursuit on Hwy. 61. The driver of the vehicle was taken into custody by the Cottage Grove Police Department. March 19 12:44 a.m. Officers were requested to the 1500 block of Hwy. 55 to assist the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office. The Hastings K9 was utilized to sniff a building. 3:06 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted on Hwy. 61. After investigation, Jeffrey G. Anderson, 62 of Prescott was arrested for Felony DWI. 9:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of 7th St. W. for juveniles ringing doorbells. After investigation, a juvenile was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. March 20 9:52 a.m. An officer responded to the 600 block of 4th St. E. to document a suspicious person/vandalism incident. 3:18 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a suspicious device in the 200 block of 21st St. E. The St. Paul bomb squad responded to the scene and the item was deemed safe. 7:18 p.m. Officers responded to a civil assist in the 900 block of 2nd St. W. 7:31 p.m. Officers responded to a welfare check in the 2300 block of Cannon St. The incident was mediated and documented by officers on scene.
