We’ve successfully wrapped up the first full week of school and are diving straight into Homecoming Week! Be sure to review the dress-up days for each school building so you can avoid those last-minute scrambles—we’ve all been there, frantically searching for the "must have" items at the eleventh hour.
In today’s Raider Update, you’ll find important details about the upcoming school board-led community engagement event, information on the district’s new alert system, a friendly reminder to complete the annual update process, and our Raider events calendar.

Alert System Update – As part of our ongoing efforts to improve district operations, we’ve implemented a new emergency notification system. This system will allow us to send emails, text messages, and make phone calls to keep you informed about inclement weather decisions or any situation requiring timely communication. Please ensure that your contact information, including phone numbers, is up to date to receive these important alerts.
Annual Notices - Thank you to all of you who completed the annual update. If you have not yet completed the Annual Update process for Hastings Public Schools, please log into your Portal Account to complete this important process at your earliest convenience. See below for more details...
Hastings Public Schools is pleased to provide families with an easy way to sign annual forms and review and update household contact information for the 2024-25 school year through their Campus Parent Portal Account. The process will take approximately 5-20 minutes depending on the number of children. All families must complete this update by September 15, 2024.
One parent or guardian from the primary household will need to log into their Parent Portal Account to complete this process. After logging into your Parent Portal Account, click More and Back-To-School Annual Updates to begin.
If you do not yet have a Parent Portal Account, please contact your child's school to request an access key which you'll need to set up an account.
