Simply Secure Storage breaks ground on new facility

Simply Secure Storage recently broke ground on their second brand new self-storage facility in Hastings. The new facility will offer over 40,000 sq ft of storage once completed later this fall. “This expands our ability to meet the business and individual storage needs of the Hastings Community” says Chad Smurawa, President of Simply Secure Storage. "Immediately after opening our first storage facility in 2020,

small business owners began asking about the possibility of offering larger storage units with amenities such as in-unit electricity, large overhead doors, high tech security features and short-term leases. With the support of HEDRA, we were able to make this a reality for our small business customers” according to Vanessa Smurawa, Director of Operations. “Small Business customers have unique space and storage needs and we are excited to be able to step up and help them maintain and grow jobs right here in Hastings”.

Hastings Mayor Mary Fassbender as well as Officials from

HEDRA, Hastings City Council and the Hastings Chamber of Commerce were on hand to celebrate the event.

Simply Secure Storage is family owned and operated and focused on meeting the needs of the Hastings community by operating modern, technology driven self-storage solutions for individuals and business.
