Sharon Louise McNaughton, age 68, of Hastings, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on August 6, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sharon was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, loyal sister, and true friend. She had a kind heart, a sharp wit, and a gentle spirit that touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Tim McNaughton; her son, Lee (Julie) DuShane; and her daughters, Tamie Jo (Rob) Zyskowski, Julie (Brian) Robertson, and Aimee McNaughton. Sharon was a proud and adoring grandmother to six beautiful grandchildren: Blake, Ellie, Sarah, Charlie, Tanner, and Cami. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sandy (Al) Storlie and Sheila (Dave) Hubley; beloved pets, Skippy and Salem; and many cherished nieces, nephews, family, and friends near and far.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Isla Gergen, and her brothers, Teddy Gergen, Tommy Gergen, Jimmy Gergen, and Timmy Gergen.
A private celebration of life will be held to honor Sharon. The family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the compassionate care teams at United Hospital Neuro ICU and especially Our Lady of Peace Hospice for their kindness and dedication in Sharon’s final weeks.
