The Hastings Sharks Special Olympics Team celebrated its athletes, unified partners, coaches and supporters at its annual banquet held on March 23.
The banquet was held at the Hidden Greens Event Center with a delicious dinner and dessert catered by Ptacek’s IGA of Prescott. They enjoyed dancing with music provided by The SCENE and a special visit from three superheroes: Batman, Spiderman and Wonder Woman!
Michael Froehling led the group in the Special Olympics Oath. Michael will be competing in Snowshoeing at the International Games in Italy in 2025!
The Hastings Sharks practice and compete in 11 sports: Alpine Skiing, Basketball, Bocce Ball, Bowling, Golf, Poly Hockey, Snowshoeing, Soccer, Swimming, Tennis and Track and Field.
It was a wonderful celebration of all those present and the great support the Hastings Sharks receive from the community!
