Hastings area seniors, take note! The Hastings Senior Expo will be held on Wednesday, May 8 from 5-7 p.m. at the Tilden Community Center.
Admission to the event is free and it will be an opportunity for seniors to learn about programs available to them and what local businesses have to offer.
“We have approximately 45 vendors with expertise in social, recreational and travel opportunities, as well as senior living options, insurance, health care, real estate experts, caregiving services for older adults and their families and more – all questions answered under one roof,” said Hastings Community Education Senior Program Director Laurie Thrush. “Our new 2024 Hastings Area Resource Directories will also be available for participants which list opportunities that serve the Hastings community. There will be snacks and door prizes from the various vendors also available.”
The event is a joint venture between Hastings Community Education, the Hastings Area Senior Center and Benedictine Living Community Regina.
