A Hastings actor is taking part in the Second Act Players of Rosemount’s production of “Reunited,” by Penny Peterson.

The Second Act Players are a part of the Rosemount Area Arts Council. The play is director by Shell Wolf, and the cast includes Kathy Henry of Hastings, Anita Hoffman, Deb Milla, Tony Sasso, Robin Gilmer, Susan Friedline, Claire Ramsay, and Howard Buttery.

In this rollicking play, put on by the Second Act Players, Rosemount’s Senior Theater company, four sorority sisters from the University of Nebraska get together every 10 years for a week of fun and frolic in Arizona. Though they’re supposed to be sunbathing, swimming and playing bridge, the gathering doesn’t go as planned. Friendships are tested with flirtatious boyfriends, a séance, and a football coach who gets caught in alcohol’s web. In the end, the women grow stronger and friendship prevails.

Show dates are Thursday, August 19 at 7 pm; Friday, August 20 at 7 pm; and Saturday, August 21 at 2 pm and 7 pm. All performances will be at the Rosemount Steeple Center Theater, 14375 S. Robert Trail.

Tickets are $14 for general public, $12 for RAAC/SAP members and there will be a livestream performance of the Friday 7 pm performance. Tickets for access to the livestream performance are $10.

Tickets are available at secondactplayers. com, OR at the Steeple Center Box Office, 10-12 Mondays or 2-4 Thursdays.
