Ruth Jones, 91, of Prescott, passed away peacefully in her home with family on Friday Sept.15, 2023.
Ruth was a graduate of Ramsey Pediatric School of Nursing in 1952. She worked at Children’s hospital for most of her career.
She was also a faithful volunteer at her church (Resurrection Methodist Church in Hastings) and also volunteered for many community events including The Freedom Park Interpretive Center in Prescott for many years.
Ruth helped so many people her whole life and was dearly loved by so many! Family was the most important in her life and she prayed for us everyday and also loved us unconditionally. She was survived by her children, Alice (Jones) Laukkonen, Kenneth Jones and Nancy Jones, sister Anna (Earle) Stordahl and brother Denny Earle,seven grand-children, nine great grand-children, one sister and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life will be Sunday October 8th at Freedom Park in Prescott.
Visitation and food will be from 4-6 p.m. The sunset ceremony will be at 6:15 p.m.
