Roger Allen Burton, passed away at home on August 19, 2026.
He was born on October 4, 1944 in Austin, MN to Harry and Margurite Burton. He was the youngest of six.
Roger enjoyed being outside working in his shed. His passions in life were woodworking, antiques, Tonka trucks, going to flea markets, collecting 1/18th die cast cars. He passed on his love of music and Elvis onto his kids. When Christmas came around he would spend days creating his Christmas village, for anyone to see that came to the house.
He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Harry, Vern, Dick, Bob, and Barbara. Roger is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sue; children, Kibby (Mike) Errington, Shana Wiggins, James (Cecilia) Burton, Katrina (Tim) Tix, Josh Gutting, Heath Gutting; grandchildren, Megan (Drew) Fellows, Morgan (Kolt) Gorg, Samantha Errington, Dakota Wiggins, Thalya (Sam) Teeuwsen, Laney Burton, Hailey Burton, Luke Nelson, Josephine Burton, Charlotte Burton, Raven Tix, Remi Tix, Bradley Gadient, Quinton and Brayden Meyer; great-grandchildren, Clay, Hudson, Nash Fellows, and Tyson Gorg; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and his best friend, Jerry Gutting.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Roger’s home (23 Three Rivers Drive, Hastings, MN 55033). Arrangements are with Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel.
