Robert P. Solberg, 83, of Cottage Grove, died peacefully on Saturday, May 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Roma; parents, C.O. and Emily; sister, Corrine Flascher; in-laws, Olaf and Gladys; and brother-in-law, Clayton Hovda.
Bob will be deeply missed by his beloved 4-legged princess, Yenta; his children, Maria (Andy Almeida) Feldman, Eric (Bree) Solberg, Tanya Solberg, Mark Pearson, and Maria (Paul Grobel) Michaels; grandchildren, Matthew Rutherford, Zachary Feldman, Raven Stoll, Tony (Yussell) Pearson, Alyssa (Mike) Jacobs, and Anna (Brandon) Johnson; great-grandchildren; siblings, Marianne (Lauren) Howard and Carl (Diane) Solberg; sister-in-law, Judy Hovda; brother-in-law, David (Ann) Hovda; and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Wounded Warriors.
Funeral Service will be held at Our Saviors Lutheran Church, 400 9th St. W, Hastings. Date and time pending. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery, Cottage Grove.
