Robert (Bob) Barron age 91 of Hastings MN passed away on March 16, 2023. Married Judy (Brynstad) Barron on Jan. 26,1963. Survived by wife Judy, sons Michael (Karen), Jeffrey, & David (Le dung), brother Richard (Ann), sister Jean Govel, Grandchildren, Christy (Greg) Madson, Daniel, Emily (Corey) Reed, Mitchell, Matthew, step-grandchildren Ashley (Adam) Grill, and Adam (Becky) Husting, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bob served in the US Air Force and was stationed on a base in Nebraska during the Korean war. Bob was the owner of Mr. Robert’s Hair Fashions and was an avid tennis player. Bob also built 83 cedar strip canoes, caning the boat seats by hand. Bob loved to trout fish and took many trips to the Boundary Waters.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 1st at the Hastings Public House from 1-4 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
