Fans of country music will soon be flooding Downtown Hastings for the Fifth Annual RIVERTOWN LIVE, presented by the Hastings Area Rotary Club. Tickets are available for the Saturday, September 11th all-day music festival by going to the Rivertown Live website at www.rivertownlive. com and heading to the ticket tab on the top of the page. Reserved Seating is GOING FAST… so if you want to be closer to the action, you might want to act fast.

Rivertown Live 2021 features two stages with six notable artists including headliner Sara Evans (Suds in the Bucket) as well as Gabby Barrett (2021 Billboard Top New Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Female Country Artist, and a ton of other awards) and Chris Kroeze (Runner-Up on The Voice) on the mainstage. Award-winning artist Jake Nelson will start the day off on the Rotary Pavilion Stage. followed by the Shalo Lee Band and 32 Below. In addition to great music, there will also be food trucks, some sponsor booths and recognition of the 20th Anniversary of 9/11 that includes a flyover of military planes.

Because the venue is not as large as numerous other festivals, the opportunity to be closer to the stage is quite prevalent at Rivertown Live. Another unique aspect of Rivertown Live is that attendees do not need to stay on premises all day long and are encouraged to check out the community, especially if they are visiting from out of town (or State). Those attending with General Admission tickets can bring their own chairs into the venue if desired.

Rivertown Live is the main fundraiser for the Hastings Area Rotary Club. Rotary is a 100% volunteer organization that provides funding for numerous area charitable causes, offers programs such as Cycling Without Age and Hastings Rotary Fishing to area seniors, veterans, shut ins and physically/ mentally challenged individuals. The Hastings club provides all signage on the Hastings trail system and is responsible for the Vermillion Bridge refurbishing project. The largest gift the club has given the community is the Hastings Rotary Pavilion. For more information about the club, go to www.hastingsmnrotary.com. The club would like to thank the 60+ sponsors, 150+ volunteers and the City of Hastings for their efforts in helping make Rivertown Live 2021 a “sure to be” success on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
