The Hastings Rivertown Lions donated $3,000 to Helping Paws, a Twin City Assistance Dog organization which has a certification in training dogs to work with veterans who suffer from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Hastings Rivertown Lions club earmarks a large portion of the funds it raises through its “Wreaths Across America” project.
Other ways the Rivertown Lions support veterans and others dealing with stress is through their annual Super Breakfast. The Lions are proud of our support of Hastings Family Services through clothing and money donations, as well as in person assistance.
