The 40-plus piece River Valley Community Band of Hastings will be offering a free concert at Freedom Park in Prescott on Sunday, Aug. 22 at 1:00 p.m. Comprised of amateur musicians from Hastings, Prescott and surrounding communities, the program will included familiar marches, tunes from movie musicals and other pieces from the concert band repertoire. The band will perform at the pavilion at Freedom Park so please bring your lawn chair and summer refreshments while you enjoy the concert.
