We invite you to join us in celebrating the life of Richard Duane Platson Jr., who passed away unexpectedly on July 20, 2025, at the age of 73.
Richard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who touched many lives with his warmth, humor, and kindness. He is survived by his loving wife, Sherry, and his children Pamela (Dan) Thrun and Bruce (Christina) Platson, as well as Sherry’s children Hank, Tony, and Chris, and their spouses. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who lovingly knew him as “Papa.”
We welcome all family and friends to come share memories, stories, and laughter as we honor and remember this wonderful man.
