The Regina Auxiliary will hold its annual spring membership luncheon on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Hastings Public House. Attendees may arrive early at 10:30 am to shop the new spring items from the Auxiliary Gift Shop & Country Store. The luncheon will begin at 11:30 am followed by the general business meeting with committee chairs providing updates on activities.
The meeting will include recognition of milestone memberships and the announcement of the Auxilian of the Year Award. The Auxilian must be an active member for three or more years and exhibit the United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus and Benedictine Living Community – Regina core values: Courtesy, Attentiveness, Respect, Enthusiasm and Safety = Cares. Also at the meeting, members will be asked to complete a survey that will help guide future planning for the auxiliary, and luncheon attendees will be able to sign up for volunteer opportunities. There is a wide range of member volunteer opportunities available such as working at the Hospital Gift Shop and the Senior Living Country Store (members receive discounts), reviewing funding requests for the hospital and senior living, sponsoring and assisting the Red Cross blood drives throughout Hastings, and helping with the annual Thrifty Treasures Garage Sale.
Last year, nearly 100 members attended the luncheon, and all members (active and nonactive) are encouraged to attend and bring a friend. Individuals interested in learning more about the Regina Auxiliary are also encouraged to attend. Contact Bernie Estenson at 651-785-3940 to register by April 25.
