The Regina Auxiliary is holding its annual community-wide Thrifty Treasures Garage Sale on September 5 and 6 at the Resurrection United Methodist Church in Hastings. All proceeds go to the Regina Auxiliary to support the missions of the United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus and Benedictine Senior Living by enhancing patient and resident experiences.
Doors open for the garage sale on Friday, September 5, at 8 a.m. Due to overwhelming response last year, the Auxiliary has extended the hours until 6 p.m. on Friday. This will also help those individuals that work during the day.
Homemade pies, breads, cookies and bars will be available for purchase on both days. However, the Auxiliary recommends that shoppers arrive early on Friday for the best selection of baked goods.
On Saturday, September 6, hours are 8 a.m. -11 a.m. A big attraction for “$5 Saturday” is: make a $5 donation and fill as many bags or boxes as you want.
Auxiliary members spend countless hours gathering items for the sales and preparing for this amazing community event. The garage sale will have something for everyone including:
