The Project Share holiday assistance program at Hastings Family Service is underway! Project Share is a community effort to provide help for families living in ISD 200 with holiday meals and gifts for children through an Adopt-a-Family program.
Gift assistance for children aged 18 and under is available by calling 651-437-7134 to set up a registration appointment. Although registration goes through Dec 6, families are strongly encouraged to register early to ensure enough time for your family to be selected through the Adopt-a-Family program.
For those who are interested in helping through the Adopt-a-Family program, a link on the website at Hastingsfamilyservice.org will go live on Wednesday, Nov 13th at noon. If there are not families available to adopt when you go in, please check back as families will be added as they register through Dec 6th. Last year, 205 households were adopted through Project Share serving over 800 children.
Due to the space needs for Project Share, Rivertown Treasures will be unable to accept clothing and household donations starting Dec. 2. The Donation Center will be open to accept Project Share gifts and food donations during this time. Clothing and household donations will resume on Thursday, Jan. 2.
