12:53 a.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle on Hwy. 61 near Spiral View Loop. The driver, Nay Htoo of St. Paul, was taken into custody for a warrant.

8:09 a.m.

A vehicle was towed out of a construction site near the intersection of 31st St. and Red Wing Blvd. Melissa A. Myers, 42 of Hastings, was cited for driving around barricades.

1:11 p.m.

Officers began an investigation of suspicious activity in the 300 block of Cari Park Ln.

3:06 p.m.

A report of a found key fob was taken at the tennis courts near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Ashland St. It was placed into evidence. 4:09 p.m.

A damage to property report was taken in the 500 block of 11th St. W.

10:55 p.m.

Officers responded to an altercation between two individuals in the 800 block of Bahls Dr. Officers investigated the incident and the main aggressor was issued a trespass notice.

October 5

8:24 a.m.

A motor vehicle accident in the 3500 block of Village Way was reported.

8:37 a.m.

A report of lost property was taken in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. 9:05 a.m.

An abandoned bicycle was picked up in the 1100 block of Spiral Blvd.

9:59 a.m.

A two-vehicle accident was reported in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. No citations were issued and no injuries were reported.

12:06 p.m.

Officers received information from another agency of a person possessing child pornography who resides in the City of Hastings. This case is under investigation.

3:50 p.m.

Officers responded to the 400 block of 17th St. W. for a report of harassment. 4:06 p.m.

Officers received a report of found keys at the Vermillion Falls Park. The owners are unknown.

7:40 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of Market Blvd. regarding found property. All attempts to locate the owner of the property were unsuccessful. Information only.

October 6

8:50 a.m.

Officers responded to an after the fact burglary at the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. The case is under investigation.

9:16 a.m.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Vermillion St. for a report of burglary.

10:12 a.m.

Officers responded to the 900 block of 16th St. W. on a past action theft report. It was reported the theft occurred sometime after September 28, 2021.

3:29 p.m.

An officer was dispatched to the intersection of Cannon St. and Vermillion St. for a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

4:00 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of 10th St. E. and Progress Dr. for a driving complaint. Paul J. Lopez, 42 of St. Paul, was cited for driving after revocation and arrested on outstanding warrants.

4:40 p.m.

A stray dog was picked up in the 1300 block of 19th St. W. and transported to the Humane Society in Red Wing.

4:59 p.m.

Officers made contact with a female at the 1600 block of Vermillion St. Staff at this location requested the subject be trespassed due to unwanted behavior. She was formally trespassed and officers escorted her off of the property.

October 7

8:49 a.m. A found debit card was turned in from the 500 block of Bailly St. 9:23 a.m. A theft report was taken in the 900 block of 21st St. E. 1:31 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 2900 block of Red Wing Blvd.

3:27 p.m. An officer took an assault report in the 1100 block of Oak

St. 4:05 p.m.

Police began investigating suspicious circumstances in the 200 block of General Sieben Dr.

October 8

2:33 a.m.

Officers responded to a burglary alarm in the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. Upon arrival, officers found the rear door of the business damaged by unknown suspects. The incident is under investigation. The damage is estimated to be approximately $1,000. 9:36 a.m.

Officers were called to the 800 block of 7th St. W. for a damage to property report after a tire was slashed by an unknown person. There are no suspects. 1:36 p.m.

Officers responded to an after the fact motor vehicle theft in the 400 block of Vermillion St.

6:24 p.m.

An officer responded to the 400 block of Hayes Dr. for a welfare check. The case is under investigation.

8:42 p.m.

Officers responded to a medical call in the 1700 block of Frontage Rd. N.

10:53 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of 13th St. W. and Walnut St. The driver, Kevin Jochim, 58 of Hastings, was taken into custody for 2nd degree driving while intoxicated.

October 9

2:43 a.m.

Officers responded to an alarm in the 1100 block of N. Frontage Rd. Upon arrival, officers determined the case was a completed burglary. The case is under investigation.

10:19 a.m.

Officers responded to a reported disturbance in the 200 block of 7th St. E. After investigating, Chester V. Jones, 33 of Hastings, was arrested for an active warrant issued by the state of Colorado and for failing to fulfill his registration requirement in Minnesota. 10:36 a.m.

A report of a vehicle damaged overnight was received in the 900 block of 14th St. W.

11:07 a.m.

A traffic accident was reported near the intersection of Forest St. and 17th St. Officers cited Bradley V. Scheid, 32 of Hastings for driving after revocation, failure to yield to a motor vehicle, failure to transfer vehicle title and no insurance.

12:56 p.m.

An incident was investigated in the 100 block of 3rd St. E. upon the request of another agency. The matter is under investigation.

1:48 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 10th St. and Vermillion St. regarding a two-vehicle crash. No injuries were reported and no citations were issued.

2:49 p.m.

A past-action damage to property report was received in the 600 block of 5th St. W. An unknown person caused about $220 in damage.

3:02 p.m.

A past-action damage to property report was received from the 600 block of 5th St. W. An unknown suspect caused about $200 in damage.

6:16 p.m.

Officers responded to a report of suspicion near the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. Angela L. Henderson, 45, was cited for theft. 8:55 p.m. An identity theft report was taken in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. 9:27 p.m.

A property damage report was taken in the 500 block of Ramsey St.

9:33 p.m.

A motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Hwy. 55 and Pine St. was reported. 9:52 p.m.

Officers responded to a welfare check in the 400 block of Tiffany Dr. The incident was mediated and documented by officers on scene.

October 10

3:14 a.m.

Officers responded to the area of S. Frontage Rd. and Bahls Dr. for a suspicion call. Officers arrived on scene and investigated the case. The case is under investigation and there is no suspect information available.

3:46 a.m.

Officers located a male with a warrant near Pioneer Park at the intersection of 15th St. and Pine St.

1:29 p.m.

A report regarding damaged property was taken in the 600 block of 5th St. W.

2:05 p.m.

Officers responded to the 600 block of 6th St. W. regarding an after the fact burglary. An item was removed from a garage.

3:30 p.m.

A missing person report was taken in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. 7:31 p.m.
