October 11

8:15 a.m. A property disposal report was taken in the 100 block of

3rd St. E.

9:30 a.m.

Officers conducted an after the fact damage to property investigation in the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd.

9:31 a.m.

Officers were called to the Vermillion Falls Park near 21st St. E. and the entrance of the state highway department shop for a found gun safe. The safe was collected and put into cold storage. The incident is under investigation.

2:08 p.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of Ashland St. and

4th St. for a motor vehicle accident.

3:25 p.m.

An officer received information from another agency regarding an individual who was in possession of child pornography in the City of Hastings. The case is under investigation.

6:48 p.m.

Officers responded to an animal call in the 500 block of Kendall Dr. The case is under investigation.

8:45 p.m.

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance in the

1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. The incident was mediated and documented by officers on scene.

9:07 p.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance in the 900 block of Ramsey St. The situation was mediated.

October 12

4:06 a.m.

Officers responded to a suspicious circumstance in the

1100 block of Bahls Dr. After investigation, Jacob J. Braun,

27 of Hastings, was cited for misdemeanor receiving stolen property and misdemeanor driving after revocation.

9:09 a.m.

Officers responded to Pioneer Park near the intersection of

15th St. and Pine St. on a report of found property.

11:31 a.m.

Police took possession of property that was found near the

20 block of Ramsey St.

5:32 p.m.

A suspected attempted burglary was investigated in the

400 block of 12th St. W. An unknown suspect cut the screen of a rear window of the home. No suspect information was received at that time. The incident is under investigation.

10:11 p.m.

A recovered stolen vehicle was reported in the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. After investigation, Lamerria A. Henderson, 20 of St. Paul, was arrested for two counts of felony possession of stolen property and a misdemeanor Ramsey County warrant for criminal damage to property.

October 13

8:04 a.m.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Frontage Rd. N. for a found safe.

1:01 p.m.

A report was taken of a civil matter in the 1300 block of Frontage Rd. N.

3:21 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Eddy St. on a past action theft report. A license plate was stolen.

5:22 p.m.

A report of an attempted scam was taken in the 1300 block of Jefferson St.

6:18 p.m.

A fraud report was taken from the 1300 block of Jefferson St.

9:28 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. and Glendale Rd. After investigation, one adult female is to be charged for gross misdemeanor tax evasion.

October 14

2:30 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1200 block of Frontage Rd. N. for a found dog.

11:07 p.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Tr. and 18th St. E. The driver, Gregory Brannon,

44 of Hastings, was issued a citation for driving after suspension.

October 15

2:46 p.m. The welfare of an individual was checked in the 100 block

of 18th St.

9:33 p.m.

Officers were dispatched to a check welfare call in the

2100 block of Vermillion St. The situation was mediated.

October 16

12:34 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Cty. Rd. 47 and Spring St. The driver, Ryan B. Smith, 38 of Rosemount was arrested for felony 5th degree drug possession.

1:12 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Hwy.

55 and River St. After investigating, Collette M. Tompkins- Bell, 63 of Maricopa, AZ, was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

3:51 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 600 block of Westview Dr. for a theft call. The incident is under investigation.

7:46 a.m.

Officers responded toa medical call in the 1600 block of Fallbrooke Dr.

11:38 a.m.

Officers were called to the 1300 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a fraud report. The incident is under investigation.

3:56 p.m.

Officers conducted a check welfare report in the 1900 block of Sierra Dr.

5:07 p.m.

Officers took a stolen vehicle report in the 3100 block of Cory Ln. The vehicle was entered as stolen. There were no suspects at the time.

6:38 p.m.

An accident was reported near the intersection of Spring St. and 3rd St. The reporting person advised dispatch a vehicle collided with a parked vehicle.

7:18 p.m.

An officer responded to the 1100 block of Vermillion St. for a theft report. The case is under investigation.

7:50 p.m.

Warrant service was attempted in the 800 block of 18th St. W. Richard P. Davis, 38 of Hastings was arrested for an active Dakota County warrant.

8:32 p.m.

Officers responded to the 300 block of Whispering Ln. for a disturbance call. Officers arrived on scene and investigated the situation. The situation was mediated.

9:16 p.m.

A report of dogs continuously barking throughout the evening was received from the 1300 block of Sun Valley Dr. Michael R. Turnquist, 57 of Hastings, was cited for disturbing the peace.

9:30 p.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle at the intersection of Featherstone Rd. and Pleasant Dr. The driver, Ruwan Peris,

48 of Hastings was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated.

October 17

10:30 a.m.

Officers responded to a check welfare call in the 1000 block of 4th St. W.

10:48 a.m.

Officers conducted a check the welfare call near the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and 15th St. 2:39 p.m.

A theft was reported in the 1100 block of Vermillion St. The incident is under investigation.

8:29 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of 3rd St. and Tyler St. for expired registration. Leo J. Steffenson, 31 of Hastings was charged with intent to escape tax.
