HASTINGS Police Report

November 1 5:57 p.m.

An accident was reported at the intersection of 10th St. and Ramsey St.

8:36 p.m. A damage to property report was received from the 500 block of Spiral Blvd. The case is under investigation.

November 2

4:52 a.m.

A welfare check call was received in the 200 block of 33rd St. W. After investigating, Ross C. Raven, 25 of Lake St. Croix Beach was cited for theft.

10:07 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted on a vehicle for a stop sign violation near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 3rd St. The driver, Tom Xiong, 38 of St. Paul was arrested for two outstanding warrants and cited for driving after revocation.

November 3

7:12 a.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of 15th St. W. and Spring St. for a motor vehicle crash involving a parked car. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

7:25 a.m. Officers investigated a motor vehicle theft from the 2900 block of Enterprise Ave. An unknown suspect stole a vehicle valued at about $4,000. 7:45 a.m.

A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Sibley St. The incident is under investigation.

11:50 a.m. Officers assisted the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office regarding a runaway juvenile. 10:21 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 1200 block of N. Frontage Rd. After investigation, Richard D. Pierson, 62 of Hastings was found to be impaired and arrested for DWI.

November 4

7:55 a.m. A theft incident was reported in the 400 block of Ashland

St. 9:19 a.m.

Found property was reported in the 100 block of 6th St. W. Officers returned the property to the owner.

2:26 p.m. A burglary report was received in the 1700 block of S. Frontage Rd.

7:30 p.m. Officers attempted warrant service in the 400 block of Ramsey St. Jacob C. Klemke, 31 of Hastings was arrested for an active Dakota County warrant.

November 5

1:42 a.m.

Officers investigated a suspicious incident that occurred near the 1700 block of Vermillion St. Carolina Mattson-Laurent, 41 of Eagan was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

10:00 a.m. An identity theft report was taken from the 1100 block of Villa Ct. No financial loss was reported.

3:20 p.m. Two theft reports were taken from Jaycee Park in the 400 block of Lock and Damn Rd.

November 6

3:41 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Tuttle Dr. regarding a disturbance. After investigation, an officer cited Daniel W. Kranz, 20 of Hastings, was underage consumption and possession of marijuana.

8:41 a.m. Officers arrested Derek T. Edwards, 24 of Rosemount for DWI near the intersection of Nininger Rd. and Pleasant Dr.

12:34 p.m. A motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of 10th St. and Vermillion St.

5:22 p.m.

An abandoned bicycle was reported in the 400 block of 7th St. E. The owner was not located.

6:32 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. regarding a past action theft report. The case is under investigation.

November 7

2:50 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 900 block of Vermillion St. The vehicle did not stop and was pursued by another agency and arrested. 3:30 a.m.

Officers were requested to respond to a business in the 600 block of Pleasant Dr. for a public assist call. After investigation, officers gave a female a ride to a gas station.

8:01 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Commerce St. for a theft from a motor vehicle report.

9:14 a.m. A damage to property report was taken in the 600 block of 35th St. W.

9:28 a.m. An after the fact fraud report involving a stolen debit card being used at multiple locations throughout the city of Hastings was received in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. The case is under investigation.

1:50 p.m. Officers responded to the 2600 block of Glendale Ave. on a report of a civil disturbance. Officers responded and mediated the situation.

2:48 p.m. Officers received an after the fact theft report from the 1100 block of Hwy. 55. There are no suspects.

8:06 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the 1400 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Jacob Shogren, 25 of Hastings was issued a citation for motor vehicle registration tabs.
