HASTINGS Police Report

November 8 4:23 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and N. Frontage Rd. The driver, Darius Wilkerson, 27 of St. Paul Park was arrested for giving police a false name of another person.

7:52 a.m. A report was received of a male with an active warrant in the 1200 block of 18th St. E. Contact was made with Jason A. Berg, who was arrested for an active felony warrant and transported to Dakota County Jail without issue.

8:59 a.m. A report was received of a vehicle theft that occurred sometime overnight in the 400 block of Commerce Ct. The incident is under investigation.

9:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. for a warrant call. Joshua J. Plumley, 40 of St. Paul was arrested for multiple outstanding warrants.

10:03 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. regarding a disturbance between a male and female. Both individuals were interviewed and directed to separate for the evening.

November 9

12:33 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Bahls Dr. regarding a suspicious situation. The case was documented and forwarded to the Minnesota Gambling Control Board for further investigation.

3:29 p.m. A report of lost property was received in the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd.

10:56 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the 1600 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Christopher Schaeppi, 28 of St. Paul Park was taken into custody for Driving While Intoxicated.

11:05 p.m.

A found dog call was received in the 4100 block of Shannon Dr. The dogs were returned to their owner shortly afterwards.

November 10

12:12 a.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Westview Dr. to assist another agency. 1:13 a.m.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Hwy. 316 and 31st St. E. After investigating, Daniel J. Lusian, 39 of Hastings was arrested for DWI and a stop sign violation. He was booked into Dakota County Jail.

8:49 a.m. A harassment report was received and documented in the 100 block of 3rd St. E.

10:37 a.m. A suspicion call was taken in the 1100 block of Zweber Ln.

12:00 p.m. A report of drug activity was received in the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. One juvenile was cited for petty misdemeanor small amount of marijuana.

12:19 p.m. A possible medical situation was responded to in the 3200 block of Century Dr.

1:46 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for an abandoned vehicle report. Officers located Savannah M. Griffin, 24 of Minneapolis. She was arrested for providing false information to police. Griffin was also arrested for multiple warrants for her arrest.

6:36 p.m. Officers responded to a found property call in the 800 block of 18th St. E. The caller located a machete, which was entered into evidence for safekeeping.

November 11

5:27 a.m.

A subject with active warrants was reported in the 300 block of 33rd St. W. After investigating, Christopher M. Brown, 41 of Wabasha was arrested for several active warrants and a fifth-degree controlled substance crime.

1:52 P.M. Kamal S. Mohamed, 25 of St. Paul was arrested in the 1500 block of Hwy. 55 for several active warrants.

3:30 p.m. Officers were notified of a theft incident on Shannon Dr. 5:27 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a dog bite call in the 700 block of Williams Dr. The case is under investigation.

8:06 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Hwy. 55 near N. Frontage Rd. The driver, Robert Danielson of Hastings, was cited for speeding.

11:03 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Ravenna Trail and Glendale Rd. Cody A. Cohenour, 28 of St. Paul was cited for driving after revocation and failure to carry proof of insurance. Christina M. Anacker, 26 of St. Paul was cited for open container.

11:27 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle vs. parked car accident in the 600 block of Pine St. After investigating, Daniel P. Yost, 37 of Hastings was arrested for DWI, engaging in a phone call with a wireless communication device and carrying a pistol while under the influence of alcohol.

November 12

11:49 a.m.

A theft incident was reported in the 400 block of Commerce Ct.

11:59 a.m. Possible fraudulent activity was reported in the 1100 block of 4th St. W.

3:12 p.m. A property damage accident was reported in the 1900 block of Eddy St.

5:01 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1700 block of S. Frontage Rd. No suspects.

8:15 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of 33rd St. W. for a welfare check. During the course of the investigation, officers located suspected narcotics in the vehicle. The driver, Jessica Shipley of Forest Lake was taken into custody for 1st Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Hypodermic Needles.

11:31 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Featherstone Rd. and Whispering Ln. After investigation, Travis E. Landman, 62 of Hastings, was arrested for 3rd Degree DWI.

November 13

12:12 a.m.

A damage to property call was received from the 3400 block of Vermillion St. After investigating, Clayton D. Zenner, 26 of Hastings was arrested for DWI and Leaving the Scene of a Property Damage Accident.

12:18 a.m. A past action animal call was received in the 600 block of Vermillion St. An unknown suspect ran over a dog and left the scene. The case was investigated. The case is inactive.

12:18 p.m. A $565 theft report was taken in the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. 7:13 p.m.

A parking complaint was received in the 100 block of 2nd St. on a parking complaint. Upon arrival, a vehicle was observed double parked. The vehicle was towed for blocking the caller from getting out.

November 14 6:02 a.m.

A damage to property and theft report were taken from Starling Dr.
