HASTINGS Police Report

December 20 7:11 a.m.

Officers responded to the intersection of Pleasant Dr. and 15th St. for a motor vehicle accident with personal injury. 8:34 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 17th St. and Vermillion St. Roosevelt L. Conklin, 28 of Hastings was cited for expired registration.

9:07 a.m. A report of drug activity was received in the 200 block of Ramsey St. One juvenile was cited for petty misdemeanor possession of small amount marijuana and released. 10:02 a.m.

Officers responded to a damage to property report in the 100 block of 2nd St. E. after an unknown suspect spray painted the side of a building. 11:23 a.m.

A theft was investigated in the 1500 block of Walnut St. An unknown subject stole a vehicle valued at about $6,000. 12:47 p.m.

Officers responded to a wooded area of Lake Rebecca regarding a fire that had been started. The Hastings Fire Department responded to the scene and mediated the fire. 6:19 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 1400 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Anthony P. Faulhaber, 56 of Maplewood was cited for driving after revocation, fail to carry proof of insurance, possession of stolen items and using incorrect registration on a vehicle. The passenger, Michelle L. Running, 55 of Stacy, MN was arrested for drug possession.

6:23 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of N. Frontage Rd. for a theft report. Officers identified a suspect in this case. The case is under investigation. 11:55 p.m.

A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Cty. Rd. 47 and Village Trail. After investigation, Kendria P. Hicks, 33 of Red Wing was arrested for providing a false name to police, altering a license plate and driving after revocation.

December 21

3:40 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Hwy. 55 and River St. After investigation, Jody A. Cary, 41 of Hastings was arrested for an active felony warrant out of Dakota County.

4:05 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted near the 1200 block of 18th St. E. Kane T. Olenchak, 48 of South St. Paul was arrested for driving after canceled IPS.

7:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 11th St. W. regarding a report of a two-vehicle hit-and-run accident.

December 22

2:09 a.m.

A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 15th St. and Eddy St. After investigation, Tyler J. Ackerman, 21 of River Falls was arrested for Gross Misdemeanor DWI. Anthony C. Christopherson, 22 of Hastings was arrested for 5th Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance.

4:23 a.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Vermillion St. for a burglary alarm call. An officer observed forced entry to the business. There is no suspect information available in this case. The case is under investigation.

7:48 a.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Vermillion St. and 10th St. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

10:03 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 15th St. and Vermillion St. Malcolm D. Cox, 69 of Hastings was cited for expired registration.

5:48 p.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of 4th St. W. for a missing person call. The case is under investigation.

10:11 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted in the 1400 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Stephon James, 30 of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation and possession of marijuana.

11:29 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of

2nd St. E. and Chestnut St. After investigation, James A. McConnell, 43 of Hastings was arrested for 4th Degree DWI.

December 23

1:28 a.m.

Officers responded to a report of a robbery in the 1300 block of S. Frontage Rd. The incident is under investigation.

3:07 p.m.

A two-vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Red Wing Blvd. and Spiral Blvd. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued. FROM

Officers located Eric A. Hanson, 35 of Hastings near the intersection of 31st St. W. and Lester Ave. Hanson was arrested for an outstanding possession of firearm by ineligible person warrant, 5th Degree Possession of Drugs and receiving stolen

An assault report was taken in the 1600 block of S. Frontage Rd. After investigation, Halle M. Anger, 18 of Prescott was cited and arrested for misdemeanor 5th Degree Assault.

11:32 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 500 block of 18th St. E.

December 24

1:55 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Nininger Rd. for a warrant call. Angelica Springer, 33 of St. Paul was arrested for a gross misdemeanor Hennepin County warrant.

9:23 a.m. A burglary was reported in the 1300 block of Eagle Bluff Dr.

10:55 p.m. Officers responded to a suspicion call in the 1300 block of Eddy St.

December 25

2:13 a.m.

Officers responded to a disturbance call in the 100 block of 14th St. W. After investigation, Naihla L. Buckley, 36 of Wisconsin was arrested for disorderly conduct, fleeing a peace officer on foot and obstruction of the legal process.

4:40 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1600 block of Northridge Dr. regarding a medical. 6:52 p.m.

An after the fact theft report was received in the 3500 block of Greten Ln.

7:34 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1500 block of Vermillion St. regarding a welfare check. One individual was transported to the hospital.
