HASTINGS Police Report

January 10 9:23 a.m.

Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of Bahls Dr. on an after the fact theft report.

2:49 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 14th St. W. after a report of an abandoned bicycle in the street.

9:20 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 5th St. W. The driver, Ann Nicoski, 37 of N. St. Paul was taken into custody for a warrant and issued a citation for driving after revocation.

January 11

7:39 a.m.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of 15th St. for a motor vehicle accident.

12:45 p.m. Officers received a report of a portable toilet being damaged by a reckless driver in the 400 block of Lock and Dam Rd. The incident is under investigation.

3:49 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of 16th St. W. on an after the fact theft call.

9:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of 2nd St. E. for a juvenile complaint. Officers mediated and documented the case.

10:13 p.m. Cody R. Brown, 29 of Hastings was arrested for driving

after revocation.

January 12

1:32 a.m.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 33rd St. W. The driver, Enzo Mc-Namara, 18 of Hastings was cited for speeding and driving after suspension.

12:24 p.m. A two-vehicle crash was reported in the 200 block of 33rd St. W. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

9:37 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 18th St. and Vermillion St. Fredi A. Fuentes Santos, 28 of Hastings was cited for driving after revocation, failure to carry proof of insurance and open bottle.

9:51 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Pine St. and 11th St. After investigation, the juvenile driver was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign and drug paraphernalia was collected to be destroyed.

January 13

1:14 a.m.

Officers responded to the 2500 block of Hackberry Dr. for a suspicion call. Brent R. Balster, 48 was cited for trespassing.

1:14 a.m.

A traffic stop was initiated in the 1500 block of Vermillion St. The driver, Jacob Nauman, 21 of Hastings was taken into custody for driving while intoxicated and speeding.

8:02 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Florence St. regarding a 911 hang up. After investigation, John J. Parker, 61 of Hastings was arrested for an outstanding felony assault warrant.

January 14

2:48 p.m.

Officers responded to the 1600 block of Vermillion St. for a theft report. The case is under investigation.

3:21 p.m. Officers responded to a harassment report in the 300 block of 33rd St. W. The case is under investigation.

8:20 p.m. Officers responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of 5th St. W. After investigation, Patrick M. Tchida, 48 of Hastings was cited for disorderly conduct.

10:01 p.m. Officers investigated a welfare check in the 400 block of Cari Park Ln.

January 15

5:08 p.m.

Officers responded to the 200 block of 33rd St. W. to investigate a theft report. No suspects were identified at that time. The incident is under investigation. The damage cost was approximately $1,500-2,000.
