HASTINGS Police Report

February 7 7:49 a.m. An officer responded to the intersection of Walnut St. and 13th St. for an accident involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

8:01 a.m. Officers arrested Reid A. Kuschel, 40 of Hastings in the 1200 block of 18th St. E. for two active warrants.

8:48 a.m. A report of an egged garage door was received in the 1100 block of Vista Dr. There was no suspect information, but it was believed to have occurred the previous night.

10:17 a.m. Officers filed a theft report in the 800 block of 10th St. W. 10:49 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of General Sieben Dr. regarding a damage to property report. Approximately $750 of damage was done. The incident is under investigation.

10:55 a.m. Officers responded to a fraud report in the 100 block of Frasier St. 10:59 a.m.

Officers conducted a traffic stop and cited Derik T. Leick, 28 of Marine on St. Croix for driving after revocation.

10:59 a.m. Officers responded to Pleasant Dr. regarding an after the fact theft. An unknown person caused about $300 in damage and stole about $175 in property.

1:06 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 26th St. Jacqueline N. Lynch, 28 of Hastings was cited for expired registration.

1:56 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. Beau C. Hullermann, 43 of Zimmerman was cited for displaying expired motor vehicle registration.

3:04 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted on Hwy. 55 near Ashland St. Kimberly D. Haas, 44 of Hastings was cited for expired registration.

4:39 p.m. Officers stopped out with a male near S. Frontage Rd. and Lyn Way. David A. Thomas, 34 of Hastings was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

5:13 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Spiral Blvd. and Enterprise Dr. for a two-vehicle crash. There were no injuries, and no citations were issued.

February 8 8:14 a.m. A traffic stop was performed at the intersection of Hwy. 61 and Spiral View Loop. Jenifer A. Miller, 30 of Prescott was cited for driving after revocation. 12:09 p.m.

Officers began a puppy scam investigation in the 2500 block of Yellowstone Dr. The case is under investigation.

12:35 p.m. A traffic stop was performed near the intersection of 10th St. and Progress Dr. Jospeh M. Goodman, 26 was arrested for possession of a firearm without a permit.

3:12 p.m. Officers responded to an identity theft report in the 500 block of 3rd St. W. The case is under investigation.

4:16 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 3rd St. Gregory A. Coleman, 53 of St. Paul was cited for exited registration.

February 9 2:17 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle accident that occurred at Spiral Blvd.

6:29 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion St. and 15th St. Melissa M. Hoikka, 35 was arrested for an outstanding warrant.

February 10 12:15 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 600 block of 10th St. E. The driver, Cassie J. Burkhart-Chevre, 36 of St. Paul was arrested for Felony 5th Degree Possession and Driving After Revocation.

1:34 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle on 7th St. near Prairie St. The passenger, Christopher Jung, 35 of South St. Paul was taken into custody for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of hypodermic needles and 3rd Degree Possession of a Controlled Substance. The case is under investigation.

8:53 a.m. Officers received an after the fact identity theft report. There are no suspects.

12:44 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of 12th St. and Vermillion St. Edward A. Overton Jr., 20 of Eagan was cited for driving after revocation.

1:08 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of 4th St. and River St. Sabrina J. Kiefer, 33 of Hastings was cited for driving with expired registration.

3:51 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop near the intersection of 10th St. E. and Progress Dr. Kristen L. Eineke, 32 of Welch was cited for having expired vehicle registration.

5:34 p.m. A two-vehicle accident was reported on Hwy. 55 near Pine St. No injuries were reported, and no citations were issued.

11:10 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of Ver- million St near 23rd. St. W. The driver, Melissa McAlpin, 30 of Hastings was cited for expired registration and possession of drug paraphernalia.

February 11 1:29 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the 700 block of 10th St. E. The driver, Danielle N. Schutlz, 44 of White Bear Lake was arrested for a misdemeanor Ramsey County negligent fire warrant.

1:58 a.m. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 7th St. and Tyler St. Ambria P. Allison, 23 of Hastings was arrested for DWI.

1:20 p.m. A traffic stop was performed at the intersection of 18th St. and Vermillion St. Clinton J. Cory, 36 of Hastings was cited for a vehicle registration violation.

2:01 p.m. A theft report was taken in the 100 block of 24th St. W. 4:35 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of 33rd St. W. and Vermillion St. Joshua L. Kuplic, 32 of Hastings was cited for driving with expired vehicle registration.

6:46 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of General Sieben Dr. and Hwy. 55 for an accident involving two vehicles with no injuries. No citations were issued.

7:01 p.m. A traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of 10th St. and Sibley St. After investigation, Cierra M. WIllner, 20 of Woodbury was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Washington County.

8:17 p.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the area of the 400 block of Lock and Dam Road. The officer located drug paraphernalia. The driver was given a verbal warning for possession of drug paraphernalia. The case was documented.

February 12 12:54 a.m. A traffic stop was performed on a vehicle in the area of Vermillion St. and 10th St. E. The driver, Leigh Venaglia, 60 of Eau Claire was taken into custody for Fourth Degree Driving While Under the Influence of Alcohol.

3:41 a.m. A suspicious circumstances call was investigated in the 2400 block of Vermillion St. After investigation the driver, Tyler Pierce, 36 of Iowa was arrested for Felony 5th Degree Drug Possession.

February 13 2:07 a.m. A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle in the 700 block of 18th St. W. The driver, Hogan Noyes of Hastings was taken into custody for Fourth Degree Driving While Intoxicated.
