The Hastings Rivertown Lions Club hosted their 3rd Annual Super Breakfast on Saturday, February 24 benefitting the Hastings Fire Department and First Responders at the Resurrection United Methodist Church in Hastings. In addition to raising funds for the department, the Lions treated department personnel and their families to breakfast. In order to increase the profits going to the department, several Lions members also donated decorations and supplies.
In all, 195 hungry eaters came through to honor these brave men and women for their service. and their kids who came with their parents had a wonderful time learning about firefighters and their equipment.
The 2025 Super Breakfast will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025. The Hastings Rivertown Lions have been serving Hastings and the surrounding area since 1967. In addition to supporting the Fire Department and First Responders, the Lions provide vision screenings at no cost for elementary school children, support our Veterans thorough Wreaths Across America and the Carpenter Nature Center along with many other local causes.
