November 9th 7:30 a.m. Officers were notified of a damage to property in the 400 block of 4th Street East.
8:02 a.m. Officers were called to the 1600 block of Brittany Rd for a theft from vehicle report. An ash tray and change was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway. No suspects. Inactive.
9:20 a.m. Officers filed a theft of license plate report.
10:04 a.m. Officers were called to the 1300 block of Brittany Road for a theft from vehicle, a shotgun was taken. No suspects. Inactive.
11:39 a.m. Officers were called to 1128 Bahl’s Drive for an abandoned bicycle report. Inactive.
12:35 p.m. Officers took a found cell phone report at the Hastings PD.
2:20 p.m. Officers took a damage to property report in the 2000 block of Enterprise Ave. The damage occurred sometime in the last two weeks. Unknown suspects.
2:20 p.m. Officers were dispatched to a hit and run accident in the 1500 block of HWY 55. A vehicle struck another vehicle causing minor scrapes to the victim’s vehicle.
3:40 p.m. Officers took a civil matter in the 400 block of 15th St.
4:26 p.m. Officers were notified of an electric mobility scooter that was found in Conzemius Park by the parks department. It was placed in the PD garage.
5:37 p.m. Officers received a theft report in the 200 block of 33rd Street West. The incident is under investigation.
6:28 p.m. Officers took a threats report. There was not enough evidence to support a crime was committed. Officers mediated the situation.
7:40 p.m. Officers received a theft in the 40 block of Radford Road. There is no suspect information at this time and the case is inactive.
November 10th 2:09 a.m. Officers investigated a vandalism report at the 100 block of 2nd Street West. There are no suspects in this case. The case is under investigation.
8:02 a.m. Officers took a theft from vehicle report in the 1900 block of Oak St. No suspects.
9:49 a.m. Officers responded to a section of private property located on the 1000 block of 10th St. E. The owner of the property requested assistance in identifying a group of people in order to trespass them from the property.
10:23 a.m. Officers were informed of a found credit card. Officers contacted the owner and it was requested the credit card be discarded because it had already been replaced.
5:21 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Vermillion Street regarding an assault. Alisa Darlette Schampale Brown, 29 of Hastings, was later arrested and charged with misdemeanor – 5th degree assault and misdemeanor – disorderly conduct.
5:25 p.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Westview Drive and HWY 55.
7:49 p.m. Officers responded to the 1900 block of Oak St. for a report of a theft from motor vehicle. No suspect information at this item. The loss is a firearm worth $515.00.
November 11th 12:32 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at 14th St. and Vermillion St. after investigation Deleon Nathan McClain, 26 of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation.
1:39 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Ravenna Trail and Glendale Road. The driver Marcus Hogan, 44 of St. Paul, was cited for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.
7:09 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of 3rd Street and State Street regarding a two-vehicle collision where there were reported injuries. Donna Lee Mettler, 59 of Cannon Falls, was issued a citation for failure to yield.
8:10 a.m. Officers were called to the 200 block of 2nd St. E. for a theft report. A speaker was reportedly taken. Under investigation.
9:42 a.m. Officers took a theft report in the 2900 block of Enterprise Ave. The incident is under investigation.
2:15 p.m. Hastings Police made a traffic stop on CTY Rd 47 near Village Trail. Asa Soine, 28 of Hastings, was cited for driving after revocation and no proof of insurance.
6:25 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of North Frontage Road for a theft report. There is suspect information in this case. The case is under investigation.
10:53 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Vermillion Street and 3rd Street East. After investigation, Paul Anthony Figueroa, 54 of Young America, was cited for driving after suspension and no proof of insurance.
November 12th 2:10 a.m. Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle at Red Wing Boulevard and Spiral Boulevard. The driver Shaentika Buckhanan, 27 of Duluth, was cited for driving after suspension.
9:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Pine Street regarding a report of harassment.
3:31 p.m. Officers were called to the 100 block of 10th St E. for a suspicion call. A counterfeit bill was passed at Dunn Brothers Coffee and in a deposit dropped off at Premier Bank. Inactive.
5:52 p.m. I, Officer Haedt, responded to the intersection of State Street ad 2nd Street West for an accident. The road conditions were icy and no citations were issued. November 13th 12:00 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1200 block of North Frontage Road for an ordinance violation. Officers issued a warning.
2:40 p.m. Officers started a death investigation.
4:17 p.m. An officer responded to 17th St W and Maple St for a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. One citation was issued to Cathleen Carol McMenomy, 61 of Hastings, for failure to stop at stop sign.
4:42 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 15th Street West for a civil paper service.
8:43 p.m. Officers investigated suspicious circumstances in the 600 block of
3rd Street West. November 14th 2:00 p.m. Officers documented a civil matter.
3:07 p.m. Officers were sent to the 1700 block of Highway 55 for a check welfare. Officers assisted at the scene.
8:17 p.m. Officers located a vehicle on the 3300 block of Olson Drive with license plates that did not match the vehicle’s description. This case is under investigation.
9:37 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Olson Dr. and 31st St. W. The case is under investigation.
9:37 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 31st Street W. and Olson Drive. Benjamin Roy Peterson, 43 of Hastings, was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Wisconsin.
11:42 p.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Eagle Bluff Court for a welfare check.
November 15th 10:05 a.m. Officers took a suspicious act report from Ramsey St.
11:37 a.m. Officers were sent to the 700 block of 2nd Street West for a suspicious person. Officers located the person and provided her with some assistance.
3:37 p.m. Officers were sent to the 100 block of 23rd Street West for a theft report.
5:02 p.m. Officers called David Patrick Anderson for a deer versus car crash.
6:33 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 61 and Spiral View Loop in regards to a suspicious vehicle. Officers investigated the call and arrested Sirena M. Lenz, 40 of St. Paul, for false information to a peace officer and an outstanding warrant.
10:33 p.m. Officers pursued a vehicle within the City of Hastings. The driver Denell Jackson, 49 of Shoreview, was arrested for multiple felony level offenses along with a felony department of corrections warrant.
10:36 p.m. Hastings Police began a criminal sexual conduct investigation. The incident was referred to another law enforcement jurisdiction for further investigation.
