(Caponi Art Park – Restoration Phase I)

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received electronically to parksbids@co.dakota.mn.us before the submission deadline OR bids may be mailed to the Dakota County Western Service Center, Physical Development Division (3rd floor), 14955 Galaxie Avenue, Apple Valley, MN 55124 until 1:00 pm on Friday, July 18th, 2025 OR bids may be hand delivered to the bid opening which is Immediately following submission deadline. Bids will be opened and read aloud in Conference Room 334 at the Western Service Center for the following County project:
•Caponi Art Park Restoration Phase I, City of Eagan, Dakota County. The project site is located at 1220 Diffley Rd, Eagan, MN 55123. The Project Scope consists of woody invasive shrub removal and restoration of the forest within the Park boundary, including site preparation for native seed installation and prescribed burning. Project duration goes until June 30, 2027. A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting will take place onsite at the above address on Wednesday July 9, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
It is anticipated that a contract to perform the work will be awarded by resolution of the Dakota County Board of Commissioners by August 2025.

Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier’s check or corporate surety bond in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the base bid pledging that the bidder will enter into a contract with the County on the terms stated in the bid and will furnish bonds as hereunder described covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder. The right is reserved to accept or reject any or all bids and to waive informalities therein.
