The temporary no wake-zone for portions of the Mississippi River from the 494 bridge to the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi, which runs through Washington and Dakota Counties has been lifted. The river level has receded and is now at or below 15 feet, which is considered minor flood stage.
While water levels have dropped, boaters are still urged to use caution as large amounts of debris are still present throughout areas of the river.
Note: A no-wake zone for the St. Croix River in its entirety remains in effect.
