Mom, Nancy Jo Splitstoser, lost a 13 month battle with Pancreatic cancer, Aug. 21, 2022.

She is survived by her husband Frederick Charles Splitstoser and her three sons Jeffrey (& Chris Calvert) Splitstoser, Bradley (& Brenda) Splitstoser, and Gregory, and 4 grandchildren Carlos (& Sierra) Splitstoser, Stephan (& Kendall) Splitstoser, Connor Splitstoser, and Anabela Splitstoser.

Born in Eau Claire Wisconsin in 1941 to Effie and Forrest and later raised in Mankato Minnesota where she attended Mankato state University and later met Fred there.

They Married in 1961 and had the three boys while living in Mankato-then Hastings till 1970, when they moved to Sussex Wisconsin till 1997. Nancy and Fred later lived in Stockbridge on Lake Winnebago from 1998 till 2010.

Nancy was an avid collector, nationally known in the doll collecting community where she had many friends. She had a keen eye for finding treasures and displaying them proudly.

She also loved sunbathing, the fourth of July parties, boating, Cats, and a Wisconsin Old Fashioned from the Gobblers Knob in Stockbridge.

She taught Learning disabled children, and later started her own nursery school for several years in Sussex where she will always be known as Miss Nancy.

She was a great mom who chose her own path and did so with her own sense of fashion, passion and Flare. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She and Fred have decided to be cremated and forever located at the Fort Snelling National Monument Mausoleum in Minneapolis Minnesota.

A Celebration of Life will be held on March 25, 2023 from 11 a.m-3 p.m.. at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings Minnesota.

We miss you Mom but know that you are at peace now.
