The Dakota County Board of Commissioners is headed to the fair, and you’re invited to join them.
The board will hold a special meeting at the Dakota County Fair on Thursday, Aug. 12 at 9 a.m. at the Entertainment Tent. The fairgrounds are at 4008 220th St., Farmington.
During the meeting, commissioners will:
•Honor the 2021 Farm Family of the Year
•Receive an update from 4-H participants
•Hold a public comment period
•Recognize 2021 National Association of Counties Achievement Awards “The county fair is a great celebration and reminder of Dakota County’s strong connection to agri-culture,” board Chair Mary Liz Holberg said. “We’re looking forward to meeting with residents, recognizing farmers and 4-H’ers, and having some fun at the fair.”
